The firm

Built by people who have sat in your seat.

Across a 30-year history, NPI Strategies has held to a simple premise: nonprofits deserve consulting that works like they do — embedded, accountable, and measured by what gets raised. We specialize in behavioral health, healthcare, and community-focused nonprofits, where the mission is urgent and the margin for error is thin.

Support staff

Andrew

Chief of Staff

Andrew serves as Chief of Staff at NPI Strategies, where his practice covers marketing, communications, and sales, building the narrative that sits underneath an organization's mission and the strategy that carries it to the right audiences. He came to this work through a career across media, spending more than fifteen years working within TV networks and independent studios. He helps leaders define who they are and why it matters, then turns that story into practical results: campaign and communications strategy, audience and partner development, and the sales discipline that connects a compelling message to measurable growth.

Thomas

Operations

Thomas supports Operations at NPI Strategies, where his practice covers research, outreach systems, and relationship development, keeping the pipeline of conversations organized and moving. He came to this work through hands-on operations and growth work, translating early opportunities into clean lists, next steps, and follow-up rhythms. He helps the senior team stay focused on client work, then turns early signals into practical results: cleaner outreach, better coordination, and the lead-generation discipline that keeps the firm connected to the right organizations.

How we work

Three things we won’t compromise on:

  1. Embedded, not detached

We sit inside the work. Every engagement is led by a senior consultant who joins your standing meetings, answers your late-night emails, and shares accountability for the outcome — not a junior analyst reporting in from the sidelines.

  2. Plain language, always

You will not receive a 90-page deck of sector jargon. Our deliverables are written the way a board can read them — concrete, specific, and short enough that they actually get used.

  3. Measured by what you raise

ROI is measured in philanthropic revenue attributable to the work, not hours billed. If we cannot defend our value in those terms, we do not deserve the engagement.
